Hello, fellow compliance and audit professionals. I am Tory Haggerty, and with the help and some valuable contributions from other former examiners and compliance professionals, I have created this one-of-a-kind course.
I started my banking career as an FDIC examiner. I have conducted countless fair lending reviews over the years, and I was fortunate enough to attend the FDIC’s fair lending school. As I have recently looked around the industry, I realized there was no comprehensive fair lending training like what I received as an examiner. Nothing even comes close. I wanted to change that.
I’ve taught basic fair lending training sessions all over the upper Midwest. I saw an opportunity to expand on that training and turn it into a course that can be offered to everyone. We have more than 60 years of combined examiner experience inputted into this course. I am confident you will find great value in your time spent with us learning all about fair lending.
I’m also a 20-year veteran of the US Air Force and South Dakota Air National Guard, where I spent my whole career in aircraft maintenance. If you have a fleet of fighter aircraft that needs work, be sure and let me know.
Erica serves as our full-time Chief Operations Officer. In her role, Erica handles the day-to-day operations of both our consulting and university divisions, including managing Tuscan Club University and our popular Fair Lending School.
Erica has nearly 20 years of small business and accounting experience for a software company, and she brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. She obtained her Associate’s degree in accounting from Southeast Technical Institute in Sioux Falls, and has earned the Fair Lending Expert designation. Erica resides in Sioux Falls with her husband and children.
